About us

THE FACES BEHIND THE NAME.

Coleton Clark, Founder and CEO of Volta Ties LLC, comes from Meridian, Idaho. At the age of 21, Coleton has already lived a life filled with service and dedication. With a strong familial foundation, he embarked on a two-year service mission in 2020, representing The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints across diverse territories from the Navajo and Zuni Indian Reservations to Brazil.

A pivotal moment in Coleton's journey took place in 2018, during a visit to Ghana accompanied by his mother and sister, Taylie. In Accra, near Ghana's coastline, they dedicatedly constructed classrooms for underprivileged children. The profound connections established during this time were ones of mutual respect and warmth, making departures heart-wrenching.

Tragically, the waters of Lake Volta in Ghana are witness to the slave trafficking and forced labor of countless children. The adversities they face range from fatal incidents to the deprivation of education. Witnessing these horrors, Coleton was inspired to launch Volta Ties as a beacon of hope and empowerment.

In a subsequent visit to Ghana, Coleton collaborated with the Ghana Make A Difference organization. Here, he dedicated weeks to various endeavors, from manual labor and dentistry to imparting English lessons to children at the GMAD orphanage. Many of these children bore the harrowing past of Lake Volta slavery, with visible scars testifying to their prior abuse. Yet, at GMAD, they find the opportunity to rediscover and embrace their true selves. Their resilience and affection have left an indelible mark on Coleton's heart.

Volta Ties champions this cause, with at least 10% of all proceeds directly benefiting these children. Our ties symbolize more than just elegance; they represent a commitment to transformation and renewal.

We warmly welcome you to the Volta family. Thank you for joining us in making a difference.

Warm regards,

Coleton Clark - Founder & CEO
